Medium: Textile art and photography

Mojos Designs combines today's style with yesterday's unused surplus. The Company's design niche is the creation of women's fashion from traditionally pragmatic materials. Through shaping techniques of a personal rather than a manufactured finish and drape Maureen has designed, presented and sold several one-of-a-kind lines of clothing and accessories. With a Fine Arts Degree Maureen apprenticed with several local designers has worked altering retail clothing has been featured in several art fashion shows and gained exposure in the wardrobe department of an actors workshop and film/television costumes since 2000. Currently she works from her home in Maple Ridge where she pioneers creative practical simplicity, inspired by enviromental sustainability and the culture of community building.
