Lauren Hazel is a Maple Ridge based painter whose work celebrates the beauty, strength, and inner world of women. Working in mixed media, acrylic, and oil, she blends realism with abstraction to explore transformation, empowerment, and presence. Her bold, intuitive brushwork carries a sense of force and movement, while moments of delicate, romantic detail invite stillness and reflection.

Her compositions hold a quiet tension—where power meets vulnerability, and the visible meets the unseen—reflecting both the physical and spiritual dimensions of human experience. Lauren lives and works on the unceded traditional territories of the Katzie and Kwantlen First Nations, a place that continues to ground and inform her creative practice.
