Medium: Photography

Kim Wright is a photo artist who creates new images by combining and mixing multiple original photographs she takes locally and on her travels. She uses these photos for large artworks as well as cards, calendars, smaller framed photos and photo groupings. Kim loves to experiment with alternative processes and is constantly evolving in her practice. The overarching theme in much of her work is Hope: the simple beauty in nature scenes; the quirky, mundane everyday vignettes; the innocence of children at play - all of these keep hope alive for her, and by showing it in her work, she celebrates life and offers hope - something we can never have enough of and often have too little of - to the viewer. Additionally, Kim provides several types of portrait sessions specializing in an artistic, natural style; plus event and corporate photography.
