From Dewdney Trunk Road, turn north on McNutt Rd. (2 streets after 269th St.) Continue on McNutt until you reach Blue Mountain Crescent.

As I am artistically inclined, my two sisters kept encouraging me to try my hand at painting. I finally relented and started classes with Areon McBride. We decided on watercolors as I had no clue as to what I should try.

Little did I know it was, in my opinion, the hardest medium. I have since tried all mediums and find pastels to be very rewarding. I have found that once you start to paint, you view the world in a different way. There is a painting awaiting around every corner.

As you can see I love strong warm colors. I also like to try all subjects. It is a relaxing stress-relieving adventure that I am glad they talked me into. Thanks Carole and Barbara.
