| Artist's Comments: | Paintings in Acrylic, Encaustic, or Mixed Media Lea is primarily an abstract artist but she paints realistic pieces as well. She gets her inspirations for her abstracts from her own photographs by finding the abstract in everyday things. Most of her pieces have more than one medium to add texture and depth to the work. Lea enjoys all mediums of artwork but her passion is abstract with texture being the main focus. Encaustic paintings which are done with melted beeswax is her new way of achieving texture in her work. To see more of her work, check out her website. |
